Peter Jamieson has taken out the 2009 ACT Australian Apprentice (Trainee) of the Year Award at the ACT Training Excellence Awards which are hosted by the ACT Department of Employment, Education and Training.
The ACT Training Excellence Awards is the premier event in the ACT vocational education and training calendar.
This year commemorates the 72nd year the awards have been celebrated.
The Awards ceremony recognises the achievements of apprentices, trainees, vocational students, trainers, employers, schools and registered training organisations committed to vocational education and training.
Peter made a very gracious speech where he thanked the MBA and particularly Manteena (and of course his Mum!).
As the ACT winner Peter is now in the National Awards which will be held in November (which this year will be held in Canberra).
