Since the official sod turning at the end of August work is progressing well at the UC International Microsimulation centre. All building ground slab platforms are now poured with structural steel work to begin erection during November.
The last few weeks have been a challenging time for the project team with a very wet October month nevertheless the whole team has worked hard, continued to reach key milestones and is keeping the project on track.
Project Manager, Kevin Tanchevski said, “I'm pleased to report that the site team recently reached the goal of 100 days without a first aid incident."
"This reaffirms our commitment, as a team, to safety as the number one priority on site."
The UC-Natsem Building is due for completion by mid-2010.
