Provide accurate tender bids for the company in a timely manner.

Key Challenges:

• To ensure the completion of tender bids in time to allow time to review the tender preparation and analysis processes.
• To ensure the accurate pricing of projects taking into account the market variables.
• To ensure documents and tender prices are prepared in a timely manner which correctly reflects the scope of the contracted works.
• To pursue prices from trades and subcontractors so they are received in time to allow the accurate comparison and evaluation of inclusions or exclusions.
• To identify when tendering may present an unacceptable risk based on the established risk profile.

Position Holder Requirements:

• An understanding of the construction and building methodologies.
• An ability to work under pressure during tendering closing periods.
• An ability to accurately assess documentation status and possible inconsistencies.
• To be able to work with and relate to others.
• An understanding of estimating systems and methodologies.
• An ability to seek alternative solutions and source prices from trades we may not have used previously.
