Project / Contracts Administrators

The Project Administrator is accountable to the Project Manager for completing work so the project is delivered to a high quality standard, on time and within budget while ensuring a safe working environment and meeting or exceeding client expectations.

The Contracts Administrator role is similar to that of Project Administrator but with a stronger focus on administering the contractual requirements and obligations.

Key Performance Indicators of the role:

  • The safe conduct of work requirements on time, to a high standard of quality to ensure the project is delivered on time and with an improvement in financial return to the company.
  • Ensure all records are maintained so concise and accurate cost and project reporting to Branch Managers can be undertaken on a monthly basis.
  • Provide support and assistance to the Project Manager in the contract management of the head and sub/trade contracts.
  • Learn and use the Company’s systems and methodologies under the supervision of the Project Manager.
  • Carry out administration tasks in a timely and coordinated fashion to ensure internal office administration timelines are met and all project documentation is completed in accordance with good practice and contractual timeframes.

  • Professionalism, respect and integrity towards your clients, suppliers, contractors, and staff with an ability to work and communicate with different personality types.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Project administration/management experience within the construction industry.
