Site Safety Advisors

Our Site Safety Advisors on each site coordinate all site safety matters including the processes to gather information, review and comment, carry out inspections, inductions and meetings, all as required by the project safety plan/project management plan and Manteena’s safety systems.

They are an integral part of the project team whereby they work closely with all site staff, trades and relevant external authorities in an effort to achieve zero accidents throughout the course of the project.

The Site Safety Advisor liaises with the Project Manager and Site Supervisor to prioritise duties to meet construction programs; with contractors and sub-contractors, to ensure safety requirements are met and those positive relationships are maintained.

OH&S is a matter of prime importance where the safety and well being of construction personnel, occupants (where premises are occupied), neighbours, visitors and the general public is paramount.

Key Challenges:

• Ensuring all staff and contractors adhere to, and take responsibility for, on-site safety and OHS requirements.
• Assist in the implementation of Manteena documented OHS systems on site in conjunction with the Site Supervisor and Project Manager.
