Canberra Division

Manteena’s head office is located at Fyshwick within a refurbished conversion amongst other redeveloped properties. The location provides easy access to the Parliamentary Zone, established business areas of Kingston and Manuka, and Canberra’s CBD.

Our Canberra Division is responsible for many of the iconic developments within the Capital’s Parliamentary Zone including: the ‘natural’ outdoor amphitheatre at Commonwealth Place; Commonwealth Place jetties; R.G. Menzies Walk promenade, adjacent to Lake Burley Griffin between Commonwealth Avenue bridge and Kings Avenue bridge; Humanities & Science Square, located near the National Library of Australia and Questacon; the National Gallery of Australia - New Look Entrance and Indigenous Galleries; the Australian War Memorial - Hall of Valour refurbishment; Anzac Parade restorations; National Police Memorial; New Zealand Memorial; Australian Service Nurses Memorial; Korean War Memorial; Rond Terrace upgrade; and the Anzac Parade lighting upgrade—to name but a few.

Currently we have under construction:

  • works at Parliament House;
  • numerous Australian Federal Police projects;
  • Belconnen Skate Park;
  • Kambah P-10 School in Tuggeranong
  • National Library of Australia: Treasures and Exhibition Galleries / Main Reading Room refurbishments; and
  • Capital Works Program at the University of Canberra

Our work is not just limited to the Parliamentary Zone, so check out our portfolio of past projects which encompass a broad range of completed works for clients such as: commonwealth, state and local governments; universities, schools and colleges; and private sector clients.

“At Manteena, we strive to assemble the best possible management team for each project and collaborate with our subcontractors so they too share our commitment to deliver the best possible project outcomes, on-time and within budget.”
