RAP endorsed by Reconciliation Australia |

Reconciliation Australia has formally endorsed Manteena’s inaugural Reflect RAP to the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) program.

As a member of the RAP community, Manteena joins over 1,000 dedicated corporate, government, and not-for-profit organisations that have formally committed to reconciliation through the RAP program since its inception in 2006. Manteena now aims to turn its good intentions into positive actions, helping to build higher trust, lower prejudice, and increase pride in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. And as part of National Reconciliation Week, Manteena has now officially launched its RAP.

At the launch function Manteena CEO, Simon Butt said, “On behalf of the Manteena Directors, I am proud to present Manteena’s inaugural Reconciliation Action Plan”.\

“In a structured and considered manner, drawing on the objectives and actions contained in the Reflect RAP, we now aim to develop, build and maintain strong relationships with our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community”.

“I’d like to also acknowledge the Manteena team of: Sascha Eves; Matt Fletcher; Clara Gonzalez; Sally Hudson; Peter Killick; and Taylor Sayers, who have enthusiastically contributed their time towards the development of the plan,” Simon added.

The RAP program provides a framework for organisations to advance reconciliation within their spheres of influence. This Reflect RAP provides Manteena a roadmap to begin its reconciliation journey. Through implementing a Reflect RAP, Manteena will lay the foundations for future RAPs and reconciliation initiatives.
