Site Managers

We’re hiring Site Managers!

If you’re an experienced Site Manager with a proven track record of managing and coordinating all physical aspects of day-to-day construction projects in excess of $5M, while ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory requirements, we want you on our team.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for controlling all site aspects of the project, managing day-to-day supervisory tasks, establishing and monitoring site commitments, and adopting good operational risk management practices. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and Senior Construction Manager to create a collaborative team environment that achieves positive outcomes for the project and our clients.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong knowledge of building techniques, well-developed communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate the entire site team. You must be able to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and be accountable for your work and your site.

Site Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in coordinating and controlling all physical aspects of the day-to-day workings on commercial construction projects in excess of $5M.

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all related site staff and coordinating all resources on sites, ensuring safety and compliance with all regulatory requirements, and achieving the agreed quality program and financial outcomes. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Senior Construction Manager to create a collaborative team environment that achieves positive outcomes for the project and our clients.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to lead and motivate the entire site team, and the ability to work well under pressure. You must have on-site supervisory project experience within the construction industry and be able to successfully deliver projects with minimal to no defects. In addition, you must have the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and staff and display confidence and respect when dealing with others.

You will be supported by a committed site/project team and the Senior Construction Manager. Key outcomes of the role include controlling all site aspects of the project, establishing and monitoring site commitments of time, cost, quality, variation reporting and program, driving a culture of safety, and participating in relevant site safety meetings. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with legislation, regulation and codes of practice standards, and actively participating in required audits.

Project Engineer / Contracts Administrator

We are currently seeking experienced Project Engineers/Contracts Administrator to join our team in the commercial construction industry.

As a Project Engineer/ Contracts Administrator, you will provide administrative support and coordination to assist the Project Manager in managing all aspects of commercial building projects to a high standard achieving safe construction, excellent quality, and a profitable return.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of on-site project and contracts administration experience within the construction industry. You must also possess professionalism, respect, and integrity towards clients, suppliers, contractors, and staff, with an ability to work and communicate with different personality types. In addition, you should be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

This role will provide opportunities for you to develop the skills and abilities to become a Project Manager. You will have the chance to learn and adopt good operational risk management practices for the project. You must hold a WHS Construction Induction Card and an Asbestos Awareness Certificate. You should also have computer skills using programs such as MS Project and MS Office Suite, with a willingness to learn specific cost control and estimating software programs.

If you are currently studying or have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a similar field, it will be highly regarded.

What you require:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in work health and safety within a construction-safety related role, • Qualifications and training: Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, or higher, Building and Construction General Induction, ACT Asbestos Awareness, First Aid certificate, • Driver’s licence and your own vehicle, • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and written skills, • Demonstrated experience using Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc), and • The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance and Working with Vulnerable People licence.
