Canberra Girls Grammar School

Completed

February 2006

Value

$5,500,000

Delivery Method

Construction Management

This project involved a renovation and modification of parts of the existing school building and the addition of a new classroom wing. The work was carried out while the school continued its operation and presented opportunities to involve the school community in the progress of the work. Scheduled tours were conducted that made the project one of great interest to the students in informing them a little about the construction process.

The new works provided new library and music teaching facilities as well as additional general classroom accommodation for primary school age children.

The design was to complement the existing international modern style buildings with the latest materials technology to present the building as a refreshed interpretation of the school campus.
